Andy Eastwood belongs to a vibrant, new generation of artists who are bringing variety entertainment into the 21st century. A virtuoso on ukulele banjo, violin and guitar, Andy’s act is an upbeat blend of dazzling instrumental artistry, foot-tapping songs and bright and breezy humour.
Born in Lancashire to a musical family, Andy began performing at an early age, studying classical violin and piano. But he also developed a passion for jazz and popular music, and having taught himself ukulele and guitar, he made history at Oxford University, being the only musician ever to give his degree recital on the ukulele!
Andy is now described as Britain’s foremost exponent of the instrument.
The legendary Ken Dodd gave Andy his break into theatre, and since then, he has made over 250 performances with the great comedian, as well as many other popular entertainers, stars and comics from the world of TV, variety and light entertainment.

Andy’s multi-instrumental one-man show is ideally suited for corporate events, private functions and weddings, and comes self contained with his own sound production. He can either work to backing tracks, or if required, we can even add anything from a 2 piece to a 7 piece live band.
The George Formby section of Andy’s act is regarded by many, including the George Formby Society themselves, as the best example there is of how this legendary entertainer originally dazzled audiences with his charm, wit and dexterity.
Andy even owns and plays one of George Formby’s original ukulele’s and delights in bringing the fun and laughter created by his musical hero over 70 years ago, to a brand new generation of fans.
