Forties fun. The Land girls brighten up No 10. Among the entertainers at yesterday’s children’s Christmas party at Downing Street were three smiling ‘land girls’, complete with vintage Forties-Style army shirts – and high heels.

Goodwood ‘The Festival of Speed’

The Spinettes sing songs spanning a few decades from the 1940′s to the 1960′s with a very unique sound and stage act.

“With faultless harmonies and perfectly in time choreography these girls sure would have entertained the troops if they were in the 1950s…If our own Vera Lynn could hear them she would be proud…”

THE ARGUS – Komedia Club Brighton

“Wonderful harmonies came from The Spinettes – A trio of West End Starlets who looked and sounded like they had just stepped out of the 1940s.”

PAUL D P SCALLY ‘Chairman of Gillingham Football Club’

“Not only were the girls fantastic singers, but the show they put on was professional and refreshingly different, was warmly received by my guests and we will be certainly booking them for future events.”

SODEXO Coporate Event – London

“Within seconds, The Spinettes had 360 guests at our annual fundraising dinner singing along and tapping their feet: their love of the 1940s is highly infectious”
