Ashley Lounge Pianist & Singer

Lounge and cocktail pianist Ashley, began life as a child actor.

In addition to an impressive career as a television, film and West End theatre actor, he has over the past 30 years also established himself as a respected piano vocalist, lounge and cocktail pianist, singer-songwriter and cabaret artist.

He has played and performed in London’s best hotels and nightspots such as Simpsons In The Strand, The Savoy, The Dorchester,  The Park Lane Hilton, Joe Allen’s, The Pheasantry, with broadcasts  on Jazz FM and BBC Radio and has entertained worldwide on 21 Luxury Cruise Liners for Cunard, Silversea, Royal Caribbean,  Seabourn, Crystal and Fred Olsen.

He has been a guest act at private functions for Sir Jasper Conran and Sir David Frost.

Ashley has also been the garden party pianist at Sir Elton John’s Windsor home for the Celebrity packed fundraiser the “White Tie and Tiara Ball”.

Ashley has a classy and individual performance style at the piano with a vast repertoire of songs and/or background instrumentals favouring the Jazz and Swing era (Sinatra  Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett)  “ The smooth 60’s (Jobim, Le Grand) Popular Songs of (Elton John, Billy Joel, Michael Bublé, Harry Connick Jnr, Jamie Cullum) Musical Theatre (Sondheim , Lloyd Webber , Kander & Ebb) and can even throw in some unusual material such as the comedy songs  of Noel Coward, or even a bit of Kate Bush!

Although naturally happy on a grand piano, he can also provide his own smart piano keyboard and equipment if required for your function.
